Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance activities across production facilities. The role includes managing hazardous waste programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, and driving safe, efficient equipment operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance teams, supervising preventive and repair work, training on safety programs, and communicating issues to production and HR.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree or equivalent training/ work experience in one or more of the following fields: Business Management, Maintenance, Tooling Design, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: At least 3 years in equipment service with troubleshooting, preventative service, construction/repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and PLC systems, with ability to create/modify/program PLC logic.
• OSHA Compliance training certification.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Solid ability in identifying and resolving problems promptly.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is available and working effectively to meet production goals.
• Follow regulatory processes for Hazardous Waste Management including training, reporting and storage requirements.
• Oversee preventive and repair service, equipment installations, tool ordering, and equipment inspections.
• Communicate with Production about potential equipment and compliance issues; assist in resolving problems.
• Ensure staff are trained in Lock Out Tag Out and safety programs; monitor on-the-job training.
• Conduct accident investigations and follow up corrective actions.
