Maintenance Supervisor - RTE (2nd Shift) – Houston Plant

Shift: 2nd (Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am, with weekends as needed). Additional compensation for weekend work.

Summary: Responsible for plant maintenance coordination, leading maintenance technicians, ensuring safety, overseeing preventative maintenance, and minimizing downtime. Must understand SQF, GMP, and safety policies. Lead, evaluate, and train staff; diagnose electrical, mechanical, PLC issues; promote safety culture; develop maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assign and track work orders; assess workload.
  2. Train staff on PM programs and SOPs.
  3. Communicate expectations and evaluate performance.
  4. Maintain Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  5. Ensure GMP, HACCP, PSM, and safety compliance.
  6. Audit and update procedures.
  7. Gain knowledge of equipment and utility systems.
  8. Complete reports.
  9. Manage parts and inventory with supply team.
  10. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree, technical certificate, or 5+ years related experience in food manufacturing.
  • 2+ years as a maintenance lead or supervisor.
  • Clear communication skills; ability to write and listen effectively.
  • Basic PLC knowledge; intermediate MS Office; SAP experience a plus.
  • Some weekend work; must reside in the U.S.; sponsorship not available.
