Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant maintenance activities, ensuring plans are executed and safety standards are met at the Owensville, IN facility.

The role requires supervising craft personnel, guiding performance, and maintaining strong cross-departmental relationships while upholding regulatory and policy compliance. Occasional travel is required to support operations and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree AND 3 years minimum related work experience.
• In lieu of degree and experience listed above, Highschool/GED AND 7 years of minimum related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage plant maintenance following company guidelines and the Operating Model, meeting power generation requirements, and completing planned activities as scheduled.
• Counsels, trains, evaluates, develops, guides and assists assigned personnel relative to job performance and duties.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships between departments and internal customers.
• Provides leadership and accountability to achieve desired safety results (Lock Out Tag Out compliance, safety meeting attendance, safety policies/procedures, work practices, etc.).
• Communicates performance metrics and expectations to direct reports.
