Job summary

Dana is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for its Kentucky operation. The role includes maintaining a disciplined work schedule, troubleshooting PLC control systems, and interpreting electrical schematics across multiple voltages.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree (or 5+ years of verified work) with CMMS experience, and are willing to overtime and travel for training. Proficiency in MS Office and welding tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree or 5+ years of related work experience.
• Overtime and travel may be required on short notice during the week and weekends.
• CMMS experience preferred and beneficial for job performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a work schedule that includes time for personal contact and communication with all shifts.
• Proficient in the use of PLCs: troubleshooting, programming, and documentation of PLC control programs with Modican, Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs.
• Interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring circuits.
• Capable of troubleshooting hard-wired relay logic machine control panels, including field repairs.
• Work with 24/115/277/480V three-phase systems and electrical distribution equipment.
• Install conduit and piping, bend conduit, and pull wires as required.
• Repair and install pneumatic and hydraulic components including valves, cylinders, pumps, hoists, and motors.
• Operate welders and cutting torches; perform basic fabrication.
• Move and install equipment; rigging and lifting up to 75 lbs.
