Job summary

Welch's is hiring a Packaging Supervisor for a 10pm–7am shift at our North East, PA facility. The role may require weekend rotations to cover vacations, with emphasis on safety, quality, production efficiency and cost control.

You will lead packaging teams, plan workloads, and drive improvements while promoting a high‑performance manufacturing environment. We seek a proven leader with 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in Food & Beverage, and a bachelor’s degree in Operations

Position Summary

We're looking for Packaging Supervisor for Monday through Friday 10pm to 7am. We're looking for flexibility to cover weekend rotations as needed for intermittent vacation coverage. The roles are designed to supervise various packaging activities at specified safety, quality, production efficiency, and cost standards. Provides leadership, planning and resources to help create a high-performance work environment in manufacturing. Responsible for safety, sanitation, quality, productivity, cost, employee/labor relations, and more.

Where You'll Work

This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in North East, PA.

What You'll Do

• Promote and ensure the safety and quality of Welch's products by performing daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and audits of production areas and activities. Auditing and reviewing of employee performance, HACCP and Food Safety paperwork, Time and Attendance, SOP's, GMPs, and more.


• Supervise production personnel in the accomplishment of packaging objectives, while driving a culture of employee engagement.


• Provide planning and direction to employees in daily operations of the department. This includes; assigning responsibilities, coordinating work efforts, removing obstacles, monitoring performance, and driving for success.


• Lead cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need

• A bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus of Operations Management or Engineering. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


• Minimum 2-5 years manufacturing experience. Experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing is preferred.


• Ability to work third shift

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
