Piper Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) for a full-time opportunity within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Wilson, North Carolina. This Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) will lead a team of maintenance professionals supporting critical sterile manufacturing operations across multiple production facilities. The position combines frontline leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical support in a highly regulated environment where equipment reliability directly impacts product quality and production success.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to maintenance technicians during night shift operations, overseeing daily work assignments and maintenance priorities across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Support troubleshooting and repair activities for complex production equipment including sterilization systems, formulation equipment, filling suites, process vessels, and packaging lines.
• Drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
• Manage employee performance activities including coaching, one-on-one meetings, scheduling, attendance tracking, PTO approvals, and employee development initiatives.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues impacting production while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance supervisory experience within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is required.
• Demonstrated background supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other highly regulated production facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, equipment troubleshooting, and process support within manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel, assigning workloads, developing employees, and participating in hiring and disciplinary processes.
• Ability to support high-priority equipment repairs where precision and attention to detail are essential to maintaining product integrity and production schedules.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $78,000 - $100,000 annually
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
