Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Aurora, CO is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes in mattress manufacturing.

You will oversee output, supervise maintenance staff and contractors, and ensure safety and on-time production while collaborating with site leadership to meet production needs. Prior CMMS experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience with manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems including hydraulic systems, HVAC, pumps, piping, and PLCs.
Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Arc flash, HAZWOPER, and forklift operator certifications, or ability to obtain them.
Certifications or licenses in electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, boilers, or PLC controls preferred.
Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced production environment with standing, bending, lifting, etc.

Responsibilities

Maintaing and repairing mechanical and electrical processes used in mattress manufacturing.
Manage and maximize output and longevity of plant equipment.
Plan, delegate, and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical/mechanical theories and codes.
Directly manage maintenance staff, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safety and timely production.
Collaborate with Plant Director and Supervisors to meet production needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
