Job summary

Tempur Sealy International in Dupont, WA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team responsible for electrical and mechanical systems used in mattress manufacturing. The role focuses on installation, startup, troubleshooting, and repair to maximize production uptime.

You will supervise staff and contractors, ensure safety, and coordinate with plant leadership to meet daily goals, applying knowledge of hydraulics, PLCs, HVAC, and CMMS tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulic, HVAC, pumps, piping, and PLCs.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Arc flash, HAZWOPER, and forklift certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, boilers, or PLC licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain installation, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Plan, delegate and perform work with knowledge of electrical/mechanical theory and codes.
• Directly manage maintenance staff, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safety and timely production.
• Collaborate with Plant Director and supervisors to meet production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
