Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Maintenance Tech Coordinator in Mississippi to coordinate and support the maintenance department for efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will schedule, record-keep, and communicate to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

You will manage daily maintenance schedules, assign work orders, track parts and labor in a CMMS, and collaborate with production teams to minimize impact on operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, with coordination/administrative experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Fiix) is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for preventive, corrective, and predictive activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and assign work orders to maintenance technicians based on urgency and skill.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, parts usage, and labor hours in a CMMS.
• Order, track, and manage spare parts and materials inventory to ensure adequate stock.
• Communicate maintenance schedules and equipment status with production teams; mitigate operational impacts.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Support troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Generate reports on maintenance performance metrics such as downtime and costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.

The Maintenance Tech Coordinator at Comfort Revolution Mfg of Miss is responsible for coordinating and supporting the maintenance department’s activities to ensure the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role involves scheduling, record-keeping, and communication to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

What You Will Do:

• Communicate effectively with production teams regarding maintenance schedules, equipment status, and potential impacts on operations.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Generate reports on maintenance performance metrics, such as downtime, repair costs, and work order completion rates.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the maintenance department.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.

What You Will Need:
