Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Altavista, VA facility in the Nutrition division. You’ll manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee budgets, and coordinate plant shutdowns to meet production plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, food technology or engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs and budgets.
• Review and verify Work Orders and shift documentation.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are met and aligned to production needs.
• Directly supervise and develop maintenance staff and planning.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies.
