Job summary

ProAmpac in Auburn, WA seeks a detail oriented Maintenance Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role leads day-to-day maintenance, mentors technicians, and ensures safety and reliability of plant equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years supervisory experience, 3+ years maintenance in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical processes. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• AOS degree (2 years) in technical discipline preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• At least 3 factory maintenance experience.
• Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.
• Solid working knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical processes related to manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
• Strong command of English language, both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, staff, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities meet or exceed safety protocols. Implement and review safety policies and standards.
• Ensure timely installation and upkeep of equipment and systems for operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Assign technicians based on operational requirements, prioritizing urgency and resource availability
• Manage, lead, mentor, train and supervise department team members including performance decisions
• Interact with outside vendors for maintenance work execution
• Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks with affected teams and leadership
• Ensure maintenance records/documentation meet requirements and regulations
• Conduct root cause analyses of equipment failures and implement fixes
• Ensure timely inspections.
