$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the maintenance operations within the industrial and manufacturing environment. This role ensures the smooth functioning of equipment and facilities while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace at my client's facility located near O'Hare.

After 45+ years of success, they have been seeing massive results over the past year and are making exciting upgrades to Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance functions here in Illinois! Description

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Oversee the inventory and procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports for management.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance technical skills and job performance.

Profile

• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes within the industrial and manufacturing environment.
• Prior maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, & PLCs.
• Technical expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience reading & interpreting blueprints & electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

• Hourly wage $30-$35 based on level of experience.
• Overtime pay (time and a half) after 40 weekly hours.
