Job summary

Nichols Farms, based in Hanford, California, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in day-to-day plant support, manage Preventive Maintenance, and drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes safety, equipment reliability, and staff development within a large production facility.

You will coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, oversee multiple maintenance sub-teams, and ensure timely execution of scheduled work while maintaining CMMS documentation and KPI

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years as Maintenance Supervisor or Lead in manufacturing/processing.
• CMMS experience required.
• Capital project planning experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture within the Maintenance Team and other departments.
• Confer with Maintenance Manager on projects and improvements.
• Recommend measures to improve equipment efficiency.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff; ensure effective selection and performance management.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives; train staff.
• Oversee Harvest, Process, B&G and Fabrication maintenance teams; coordinate with Planners.
• Maintain CMMS documentation; support operations training programs.
• Adhere to department KPIs and maintain a clean maintenance shop.
