Job summary

Redwood Communities, Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee on-site maintenance operations for apartment communities. This role leads maintenance technicians, prioritizes work orders, inspects properties, and ensures safety and quality standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a $21–$23 hourly wage and a $500 sign-on bonus. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor, holds a valid driver’s license, and can work on-call.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a maintenance supervisor.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• On‑call flexibility
• Successful completion of background check.
• Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. (I-9)

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to on‑site maintenance technicians.
• Receive, prioritize, and complete maintenance requests for apartment units, common areas, and building exteriors.
• Conduct daily property walks to identify repair needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Enter, review, and schedule work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Perform or oversee repairs including painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and related tasks.
• Collaborate with the Community Manager to prep vacant units for occupancy within timelines.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for equipment and building systems.
• Monitor operation of building systems to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain property cleanliness and curb appeal; assist with janitorial duties.
• Procure supplies and services to support maintenance activities.
