Job summary

Urban Land Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team at a multi-family property in Jacksonville. You will supervise a range of preventive and resident-service maintenance to keep apartments move-in ready and communities well maintained.

You will manage daily operations, coordinate vendors, and mentor technicians while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role offers growth within a dynamic, promote-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance and repair experience in residential, retail, or commercial property management.
• At least 1 year of maintenance supervisor leading a team.
• Technical skills in carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, minor electrical tasks and appliances.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls during on-call periods.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tenant service requests and make-ready completion.
• Ensure exterior aesthetics standards for the community.
• Manage and lead a team of technicians.
• Coordinate vendor and sub-contractor projects.
• Build and manage a maintenance budget for the community.
• Maintain quality standards across maintenance activities.
• Oversee daily operations and keep grounds and property in excellent condition.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Plan and conduct team meetings and training as needed.
