Explore Industries is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Marion, SC manufacturing facility. The role combines hands-on maintenance with team leadership to keep electrical and mechanical systems running safely and efficiently.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate with production, and train staff. Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial maintenance and a high school diploma, with electrical/industrial maintenance certification preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years in general maintenance and electrical systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced production environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred.
Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
Ability to work in demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery, including electrical systems, motors, and controls.
Lead a small maintenance team, assign tasks and work orders, provide guidance, and ensure timely completion of work.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
Maintain and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting, as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards.
Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend equipment upgrades or improvements.
Train team members on proper maintenance techniques and safety practices.
Manage spare parts, tools, and work-order systems to support efficient repairs.
Respond to breakdowns and after-hours maintenance needs as required to restore production.
Support installation, commissioning, and contractor coordination for specialized repairs or new equipment.
Conduct facility inspections and document findings to support safety and reliability.
Contribute to process improvements that enhance equipment reliability, safety, and production uptime.
