Qualifications

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with supply ordering and budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, service HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, generators.
• Manage supplies and budget within approved guidelines.
• Supervise external contractors and coordinate their work.
• Maintain facility standards: safety, operation, and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff on safety procedures.
• Coordinate department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
