Job summary

Yorktown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations, ensure safety, and keep the facility compliant. Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience in healthcare or long-term care.
• Understands HVAC, boiler, water, and emergency systems.
• Can implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
• Can manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget within guidelines.
• Supervise external contractors.
• Maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate schedules to meet census needs and budget.
