Job summary

A well-known property management firm is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Hilton Head Island location. The ideal candidate will oversee the physical plant, ensuring safety, managing maintenance staff, and performing repairs. With three to five years of experience required, this role may involve working hands-on with HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry. Qualifications

• Must possess strong maintenance and repair skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting.
• Requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years general experience in building trades.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building(s).
• Supervises, trains, and directs maintenance staff through work orders.
• Assesses repair needs and monitors service contractors.
• Schedules and assigns work responsibilities to employees.
• Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, etc.
