Job summary

Hapco Pole Products is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and utilities. You will supervise technicians, contractors, and vendors, manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and drive reliability improvements to reduce downtime.

Travel up to 25% may be required. The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager and supports Lean and TPM initiatives to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across shifts to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors; schedule and assign work based on priorities.
• Direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs; monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics.
• Manage MRO inventory and procurement; oversee parts, tools, and supplies.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations, LOTO, and safe work practices; conduct safety audits.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on capital projects and equipment upgrades.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets; control labor, overtime, and parts costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma) to improve reliability and OEE.
• Create and maintain maintenance procedures and technical drawings/readings.
