Job summary

Quick Plug in Conover, NC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance department, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and facilities. You will supervise technicians, prioritize maintenance, and manage contractors while aligning with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

You will partner with Production leadership to maximize uptime and drive continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and capital projects.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
Establish daily work priorities and assign maintenance tasks based on business needs.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related equipment issues.
Monitor work order completion and equipment history through the CMMS.
Identify recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
