SPM, LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Progresso Point community. You’ll drive maintenance excellence, safety, and resident satisfaction while guiding a team of technicians in daily operations and proactive improvements.

The role requires at least 3 years of property maintenance experience and EPA HVAC certification, with responsibilities across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of property maintenance experience.
• EPA HVAC Certification (required).
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and pool maintenance.
• Leadership mindset with great communication and team-building skills.
• High standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support your maintenance team to deliver fast, high-quality service.
• Take ownership of day-to-day maintenance of apartment homes and community spaces.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing issues, appliances, and more.
• Ensure service requests are completed within 24 hours, with care and attention to detail.
• Proactively handle preventive maintenance to avoid surprises and costly repairs.
• Oversee groundskeeping and curb appeal - pressure washing, debris removal, and more.
• Maintain inventory, track expenses, and stay ahead of maintenance needs.
• Rotate on-call duties and assist with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards and SPM procedures.
• Be a partner and problem solver - working closely with residents, vendors, and office staff.
