Job summary

WHM - Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team and collaborate with the Community Manager to protect and enhance the property. Duties include overseeing repairs, safety, and preventative maintenance to support resident satisfaction and NOI goals.

The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, strong leadership, and budget-management skills, with on-site work in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in multifamily maintenance.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA certification is required.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the maintenance team in upkeep of the property.
• Manage the property’s maintenance budget and obtain competitive bids.
• Review and prioritize work orders and maintain records.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Communicate with the property manager and residents; manage emergencies.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and be available for after-hours emergencies.
• Mentor and train maintenance staff.
