JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure that the community's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

  • Unit Count: 140
  • Property Type: Mid-Rise; Stabilized
  • Work Schedule: M-F, 9 am - 6 pm. On-call for after-hours emergencies is required.
  • Are you ready to advance your career? We're seeking a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor with 1-2 years of supervisory experience in property management. Knowledge of Yardi and Leo is a plus! Join us to showcase your skills and enthusiasm.
  • Assist with and complete work orders from resident requests and routine community upkeep by diagnosing issues and making repairs following policies, safety standards, and codes.
  • Oversee and complete the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring quality work.
  • Develop and maintain standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, exteriors, interiors, signage, and common areas.
  • Inspect work by service team members and contractors to ensure quality and scope compliance.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials, and coordinate with the Community Manager on supplies.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as outlined in company policies.
  • Support cost control by repairing rather than replacing parts and practicing efficient use of materials and tools.
  • Conduct safety meetings, ensure MSDS sheets are current, and stay updated on OSHA laws for community compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by respecting residents, answering questions, and responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $29.00-$36.00 (Oakland). Many factors influence pay, including experience, skills, and location.

  • Additional Compensation: Role may be eligible for quarterly or annual bonuses based on performance.
