Location: Richmond, VA / Schedule: See Below, 4:00PM Start / $38.43 Hourly with Signing Bonus and Excellent Benefits.

We are seeking a skilled Multi-crafted Maintenance Supervisor with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. This position is at our Healthcare Plant in Richmond.

Current open shifts:

• Sunday through Thursday, 4:00PM Start
• Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00PM Start

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees repairs and maintenance of production equipment, troubleshoots failures, performs routine and emergency maintenance, and assists with installing new equipment.

Ideal candidate qualifications:

• At least five years of experience in an industrial environment
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical control systems, including PLCs, inverter drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, chains, belting, conveying systems, valves, and basic blueprint reading
• Mastery of PLC functions, I/O, and logic control devices
• Proficiency in control circuitry and mechanical devices
• Ability to quickly identify faults, make corrections, and restore equipment to production
• Leadership skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to perform job duties (moving heavy equipment, climbing ladders, repetitive motions, walking, standing)
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all maintenance operations
• Maintain machinery to optimal standards
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify issues
• Oversee repair and installation activities
• Ensure safety policies are followed
• Maintain maintenance logs and report activities
• Manage parts inventory and procurement
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers
• Report to Plant Maintenance Manager
