The role directs a maintenance team, ensures safety and preventive maintenance, and troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, and control systems. Strong leadership, PLC knowledge, and CMMS experience are essential for delivering reliable plant performance and cost-effective maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification in electrical, hydraulics, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision with expertise in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, PLCs, motors, pumps, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a maintenance team.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet customer requirements throughout production operations.
• Supervise and hold maintenance staff accountable to company policies and quality standards.
• Provide training to staff on maintenance processes and safety practices.
• Enforce safety and quality programs within the facility.
• Monitor plant equipment performance and anticipate issues.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to drive improvements in safety, quality, and cost.
• Prioritize work orders and assist with troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ensure adherence to PM schedule and train staff as needed.
• Source parts for planned maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate procedures and safety requirements to operators and maintenance personnel.
• Conduct investigations of incidents and non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with support groups to secure required resources.
• Promote high standards through personal leadership.
