Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor in Training for the North Austin area. You will manage a service team to upkeep buildings, diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, and supervise both staff and vendors.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and customer-focused service. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in trade work with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, EPA refrigerant certification, and HVAC repair experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of trade-related experience with at least 1 year in apartment maintenance lead or supervisory role.
• Broad knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry and general maintenance.
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.
• Hands-on HVAC repair experience is required.
• Computer skills to manage work orders, turns, and communications by email.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a service team for upkeep, repairs, and grounds on the property.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work; participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain high maintenance standards to maximize occupancy and rents.
