Job summary

Sares Regis Group in Newport Beach, California, seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a 108-unit community in San Mateo. The role supervises staff and contractors, coordinates repairs and renovations, and ensures grounds maintenance aligns with quality standards.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor, strong communication and computer skills, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Weekend and overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of property management experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Experience across all trades and vendor management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; supervisory experience required.
• Proficient computer skills and multitasking abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; weekend/overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees and outside contractors in renovations, service requests, repairs and ground maintenance.
• Obtains bids from outside contractors and submits to superiors for action.
• Orders supplies, appliances and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinates work by outside vendors and inspects completed work for conformance to specs.
• Inspects facilities to determine needs and equipment requirements; estimates worker hours.
• Assists Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget.
• Participates in after-hours and emergency coverage as needed.
