The maintenance supervisor directs highway maintenance activities under general supervision, overseeing routine and emergency operations including materials, equipment, personnel, and external resources.

• Assess the condition and surface maintenance needs of bridges and roads.

• Maintain records of purchases, supplies, inventory, and personnel.
• Provide safety, equipment operation, and maintenance training to employees.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions, and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Seven years of responsible experience in roadway, roadside, bridge, sign maintenance, or pavement marking.

Special Working Conditions

• Moderate physical activity required.
• Exposure to hazards, safety risks, and environmental challenges.
• Operation of vehicles for snow plowing and ice control may be necessary.
