OPPORTUNITY: MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I - REDWOOD CITY, CA

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our beautiful 90-unit community, Encore! This is an excellent opportunity in a beautiful location for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry!

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds.

Additional responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  1. Directs employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance.
  2. Obtains bids for work from outside contractors. Assembles, analyzes, and submits bids to superiors for action.
  3. Orders and receives supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
  4. Coordinates work performed by outside vendors and inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
  5. Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type.
  6. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  7. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  8. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
  9. Assists Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget.
  10. Participates in after hours and emergency coverage as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have 2 years of related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor on 50-100 units.
  2. Prefer Yardi experience.
  3. Must have experience in all trades.
  4. Must have excellent written, communication, and computer skills.
  5. Past supervisory experience a must.
  6. Current driver's license and auto insurance required.
  7. Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.

Salary is $36.53/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
