The role requires strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, proven leadership, and the ability to manage preventive maintenance programs in a fast-paced environment. On-call rotations are included to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance with HVAC focus.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring junior staff.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in buildings.
• Excellent organization and communication in fast-paced environments.
• On-call rotations for emergencies may be required.
• Certifications in maintenance or HVAC are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily maintenance activities across multiple properties, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance staff, promoting professional growth and adherence to best practices.
• Manage and optimize HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and protocols to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of building assets.
• Supervise the procurement of parts, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records and controlling budget expenditures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, address code violations, and ensure all work meets industry safety standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex maintenance issues and coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
