Jobot is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead skilled maintenance personnel in a large-scale heavy manufacturing facility in Bettendorf, IA. The role involves supervising union maintenance staff, coordinating planned and unplanned work, and guiding troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable production.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years maintenance experience, 2+ years in a supervisory role, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with union employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise union maintenance employees, providing technical guidance, training, and day-to-day leadership.
• Coordinate and execute planned and unplanned maintenance work to support production goals and minimize equipment downtime.
• Prioritize and assign maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality, operational needs, and available resources.
• Support equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and rapid problem resolution.
• Lead safety discussions and job-specific safety reviews to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate crew assignments, staffing coverage, and work schedules in accordance with labor agreements.
• Monitor crew performance with an emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to improve equipment performance and resolve challenges.
