CONAM Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the San Aurelio property in Phoenix, AZ. The role is hands-on, supervising on-site maintenance staff and completing work orders promptly to ensure curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

The position is full-time with benefits; pay range is $31.00 - $33.00 per hour. Candidates should have 2+ years in apartment maintenance and supervisory experience, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands‑on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years of multi‑family industry experience preferred
• 1-2 years in a supervisory role strongly preferred
• Technical experience: able to handle drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications preferred
• Problem‑Solving: strong troubleshooting to resolve maintenance issues
• Communication: excellent verbal and written communication with residents, team, vendors
• On Call Rotation: willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call emergencies
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Coach the maintenance team and monitor performance against goals with the Community Manager.
• Train staff on maintenance, safety and customer service procedures.
• Assist Community Manager with annual budget and bid recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with state laws and CONAM policies.
• Perform and oversee routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Ensure safety and operational standards in maintenance activities.
• Drive locally for property management needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
