Job summary

Redbarn Pet Products in Great Bend, KS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Production Maintenance Team and ensure the safe, reliable operation of all manufacturing equipment on the floor.

You will supervise technicians, schedule work orders, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and uphold GMP, food safety, and company safety policies while supporting production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience or 3 years of industrial maintenance technician experience; 5 years in a similar production environment preferred.
• Technical education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and support Production Maintenance Technicians.
• Assign, prioritize, and verify completion of maintenance work orders.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment issues.
• Oversee installation, repair, modification, and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and supervisors.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
