Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Delray Beach is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure safe, well‑maintained living spaces for residents. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate staffing, and drive preventative maintenance programs across facilities.

BS in related field plus 3–5 years of experience, or equivalent, and a state license or certification are required. A valid Florida driver's license is also expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 3–5 years applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate responses to resident inquiries with urgency and escalate as needed.
• Implement production and quality control standards; provide progress reports as required.
• Direct oversight of production activities of assigned sub-departments including contracted services ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance."
• Coordinate daily staffing to complete all work assignments and replace absences to ensure workload coverage.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs for all facilities and related equipment.
• Direct resident homes, health center and interior/exterior renovation projects as planned.
• Train team members on proper use of department equipment, chemicals and facility policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain physical and disposable resources including equipment and operation maintenance.

Education
