Responsibilities
As a Permanent Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across multiple units, ensuring they are running efficiently and safely.
- Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team.
- Planning and implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximize the life span of HVAC systems.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keeping maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities.
- Ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the standards of EPA regulations and other relevant laws.
- Training and mentoring maintenance staff and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following
- CFC Universal Certification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance, with a strong focus on HVAC systems.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a multi-unit setting.
- Thorough knowledge of EPA regulations and other relevant laws.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- A strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- The ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of weather conditions.
