Responsibilities

As a Permanent Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include

• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across multiple units, ensuring they are running efficiently and safely.
• Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team.
• Planning and implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximize the life span of HVAC systems.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Keeping maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities.
• Ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the standards of EPA regulations and other relevant laws.
• Training and mentoring maintenance staff and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following

• CFC Universal Certification.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance, with a strong focus on HVAC systems.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a multi-unit setting.
• Thorough knowledge of EPA regulations and other relevant laws.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• A strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• The ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of weather conditions.
