Job Summary

UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical) to join the Hospital Facilities team. The role requires experience in large generator systems, UPS systems, ATS logic, switchgear operations, and VFDs, and a master electrician license is required.

Job Details

Work Location: Clements University Hospital (CUH), Dallas, Texas. Shift Requirement: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Required Experience and Education
  • Associate's Degree or vocational training.
  • Five years of related experience including three years in a supervisory or lead position; knowledge of and experience working alongside multiple trades; ability to operate basic machinery and tools. Additional years of specialty area experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Master electrician license (required).
  • Driver's license – must possess a valid State of Texas driver’s license upon hire.
Job Duties
  • Plans, coordinates, and supervises work of journeyman and helpers; assigns jobs, instructs, and inspects work for quality and adherence to work orders.
  • Performs periodic inspections of systems to determine need for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
  • Maintains time and attendance records.
  • Makes cost estimates of jobs in terms of time and materials.
  • Develops and recommends policies and procedures for assigned area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
