Job Description: Maintenance Supervisor

PEG Property Group is a growing company headquartered in beautiful Provo, Utah. We specialize in the management of multi-family and commercial properties. This is a full-time position that is responsible for the management and operations of assigned properties and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience: To be considered for this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate firsthand property maintenance, light construction work and custodial functions. High-level experience in the following is required:

  • Carpentry: Remodel and repair work
  • Plumbing
  • Household electrical
  • Exterior building maintenance
  • Custodial work for units to be move-in ready
  • Implementing an appropriate preventative maintenance (PM) schedule
  • 5 years of direct customer service experience with residential or other clients
  • 2 years of experience collaborating with outside contractors to ensure remodel and/or warranty work is performed to expectations
  • Ability to estimate the time and extent of repairs
  • Organizational skills for maintaining material and supply inventories
  • Professionalism with coworkers and while working in and around apartment community
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality policies according to ’s rights regulations and courtesy
  • Computer skills for completing and recording work order information
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional knowledge/experience:

  • 5 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent
  • Certification or apprenticeship in areas of maintenance (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
  • Superb written and verbal skills
  • Recent Fair Housing and industry training.

Physical Characteristics

The position requires the following:

  • Bending, kneeling, and awkward positions, and confined spaces to install/modify jobs
  • Standing: Carpet, tile, concrete
  • Lifting 50+ pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable for company vehicles
  • Standard vision, with or without corrective eyewear
  • Standard hearing, with or without a hearing aid
  • Operating hand tools (e.g., drills, sanders, saws, etc.).
