Job description

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join one of our long-term client's team at one of their properties in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role, with strong organizational skills and leadership by example. EPA 608 and CPO certifications are required for this role. This is a contract-to-hire position, with a 90-day period before potential conversion.

Salary and Schedule

Salary: $31-$36/hour, DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities and Job Duties

1. Complete resident service requests promptly.
2. Supervise and manage the onsite maintenance team.
3. Possess knowledge of various maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.
4. Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
5. Perform on-call emergency procedures as needed.
6. Report maintenance issues impacting the budget, such as life safety concerns, repairs, damages, and common area needs.
7. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, keeping records of such activities.
8. Be knowledgeable of applicable housing laws, codes, policies, and systems.
9. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. EPA 608 and CPO certifications are required.
3. Practical knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
4. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
5. Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.
