Job Description

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join one of our long-term client's team at one of their properties in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in hands-on maintenance and at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong organizational skills and leading by example are essential. EPA 608 and CPO certifications are required. This role is contract to hire, with a 90-day probation period before potential conversion.

Salary: $31-$36/hour DOE. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Schedule: Weekly schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Complete service requests promptly.
• Supervise and manage onsite maintenance team.
• Possess knowledge of various maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.
• Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Perform on-call emergency procedures as needed.
• Report maintenance issues impacting budget or safety, such as life safety, property damages, or repairs.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, maintaining records of activities.
• Be knowledgeable of housing laws, codes, and policies at state, local, and federal levels.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• EPA 608 and CPO certifications are required.
• Practical knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.
