Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a cogeneration facility. The role oversees maintenance and contract staff to ensure a reliable, safe maintenance program and efficient operations.

You will apply maintenance reliability practices to minimize expenses and outages, plan parts and scheduling, and coordinate with operations. A strong safety focus and leadership experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the entire Maintenance Team on scheduling all available manpower.
• Ensure jobs are performed in a safe, timely manner.
• Ensure work areas and jobsites are kept clean at all times.
• Ensure all PM’s are completed on time to a high quality standard.
• Great communication between Operations & Maintenance Team is a must.
• Contact outside vendors/contractors for any needed services.
• Uses Maximo and other computer systems to maintain records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance information.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of a Cogeneration facility. This position supervises maintenance and contract employees to ensure a reliable and safe maintenance program for the facility. They must be able to establish expectations for safety, reliability, quality, service, and productivity. Reports to the Maintenance Superintendent, but also works with other Maintenance Supervisors to plan and perform maintenance as required to assure safe, efficient operations. The position is also very involved in applying maintenance reliability practices to avoid maintenance expense and to avoid equipment outages where possible. This is a salaried exempt position.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in an industrial maintenance setting.
• Knowledge in the use of Maximo, Coupa & CTS is preferred.
• Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred.

Other

• This is a day shift position, but includes “on call” requirements.
• Must be willing to accept after-hour trouble calls.
