Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in maintaining a state-of-the-art distribution center. You will supervise technicians, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability of conveyors and material-handling systems.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, PLC exposure, and the ability to coordinate with facilities and DC operations to keep the site running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory/management experience in a warehouse or omni-channel retail setting.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in distribution or equivalent environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical diagnostics.
• Experience with PLC controls and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of technicians to maintain conveyor and material handling equipment.
• Direct preventative and predictive maintenance programs and track PM/PdM activities.
• Maintain accurate drawings, inventory, and service records for equipment.
• Coordinate on-site contractor work to minimize disruption and meet DC needs.
• Ensure safety programs are developed and followed and participate in safety committees.
• Develop training for PLC controls, forklift maintenance, and electrical work.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and track operating costs within the facility.
• Collaborate with facilities to address electrical, structural, and mechanical issues.
