Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for our Avon, CO community to lead the maintenance team, ensure safety, and keep residents in a well-kept, welcoming environment.

You will coordinate service requests, oversee apartment make-readies, supervise repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and work with vendors to support operations. On-site role with on-call responsibilities and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training required.
• 3+ years maintenance experience, supervisory preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry knowledge; HVAC/certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support maintenance team; ensure safety and service.
• Prioritize service requests; manage preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee make-ready ops and prepare vacant homes.
• Perform and supervise repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry.
• Conduct inspections and maintain quality standards.

Location: 1211-Bosk Apartments-Prime West - 242 - Avon, CO 81620. Salary Range: $37.00 - $40.00 Hourly.

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and service-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations and help ensure our community remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained for residents and guests.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading, scheduling, training, and supporting maintenance team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service
• Coordinating and prioritizing service requests, preventive maintenance programs, and repair activities to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction
• Overseeing apartment make-ready operations and ensuring vacant homes are prepared for occupancy according to company standards
• Performing and supervising maintenance repairs involving HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems
• Conducting inspections of apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and community management to support property operations and capital improvement projects
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, inventory, work orders, and required documentation
• Supporting community appearance through oversight of grounds, exterior areas, and property maintenance activities
• Responding to emergency maintenance situations and participating in the on-call rotation as required
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and all applicable safety regulations
• Promoting a positive, safe, and welcoming community environment
• Performing other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training required
• Three or more years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience required, including previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
• HVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields required
• Ability to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with work order systems, property management software, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel preferred
• Ability to work on-call, respond to emergencies, and work flexible schedules as needed
• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required
