The Maintenance Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Maintenance Supervisors are:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • 1+ years of managing a skilled trades workforce

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
  • Effective two-way communication skills, actively listening to team members, leaders, business partners, and customers
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and applying innovative, customer-first solutions
  • Ability to create a safety-focused culture and implement workplace policies
  • Consistent and effective administration of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
  • Openness to different opinions and perspectives
  • Willingness to work 6-6 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in safety and quality management
  • Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Experience managing a unionized workforce
