Clarios is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift at our Tampa plant to lead maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment, oversee technicians and storeroom activities, and manage wastewater resources on the shift.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field, 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, and 1+ year of supervisory experience.

  • Promote TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

We're hiring a Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift to provide leadership and direction for maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This plant-based leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance technicians, storeroom operations, and wastewater resources during the shift, while ensuring equipment reliability, safety, quality, and production performance.

What Does Success Look Like
  • Lead and develop the maintenance team to safely execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while supporting production goals.
  • Drive equipment reliability by improving key performance metrics including OEE, MTTR, MTBF, PM/PdM Compliance, and Schedule Compliance.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to maximize uptime, minimize downtime, and achieve daily production targets.
  • Oversee work management and CMMS processes, ensuring work orders are properly identified, executed, documented, and completed.
  • Manage storeroom activities, materials usage, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and resource planning to support maintenance effectiveness.
  • Build a proactive maintenance culture through TPM, Reliability Excellence, continuous improvement initiatives, employee development, and performance management.
What We Look For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, PLCs, electrical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a plant manufacturing environment and support off-shift maintenance activities as needed.
Preferred
  • Experience using Maximo CMMS.
  • Experience with Kronos or similar workforce timekeeping systems.
  • Experience supporting TPM, Reliability Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing maintenance KPIs and reliability-focused maintenance programs.
