Essential qualities for the best Maintenance Supervisor include:

• Responsibility for the performance of the service team, serving as a positive role model
• Providing full support to the Property Manager in maintaining community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures
• Enforcing safety measures
• Coaching, mentoring, and setting personal goals for staff
• Efficiently scheduling daily activities, monitoring quality and quantity
• Understanding property budgets and long-range planning
• Maintaining shop, equipment, supplies, inventory, and security
• Inspecting property routes and models to ensure they look their best
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and team members

What you have already accomplished:

• At least 2 years of managing maintenance needs in a community
• Successfully led a team for at least 1 year
• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, understanding)
• Computer literacy and related applications skills
• A good sense of humor
