Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 2nd shift to oversee equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure within a production environment. You will lead a maintenance team, drive preventive and corrective maintenance, ensure timely work orders, and push continuous improvement to boost reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, strong PM program knowledge, Kaizen experience, safety standards proficiency, and the ability to plan weekly and monthly

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing maintenance teams
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage weekly/monthly maintenance schedules

About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure within a production environment. This role leads and develops a maintenance team, oversees preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensures work orders are completed on time, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support operational goals, equipment reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You Need To Be Successful:

• 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, preventive maintenance programs, and repair processes.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing maintenance teams.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as problem solving, Kaizen, and World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, implement solutions, and achieve operational goals.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to support multiple shifts and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives.
• Background leading Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Experience conducting maintenance audits and safety inspections.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Experience managing maintenance inventory and equipment storage programs.
• Demonstrated success driving preventive maintenance improvements and reliability initiatives.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant maintenance leadership experience will be considered.

Travel:

Minimal travel required.
