Trane Italia in New Jersey seeks an experienced maintenance leader to manage daily production schedule, material and labor to meet customer requirements and cost objectives. You will collaborate with team leaders to ensure process support and quality checks are performed, while guiding training, performance, and labor administration across shifts.
The role requires a minimum of five years in maintenance, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and strong communication and lean/six sigma knowledge.

On-Site (5 days)
Executes the daily production schedule through the utilization of people, material, machine, and processes to meet customer requirements, schedule compliance, and cost objectives
Work with other Team Leaders and employees throughout the organization, cooperating to assure the production processes support the production plan and customer requirements
Assures appropriate quality checks, PM’s and audits are performed by operators to provide product and process quality
Responsible for employee job training, employee performance, wage and contract administration, employee discipline, policies and procedures, attendance and vacation schedules, labor reporting, inventory accuracy, etc.
Develop and implement improvements in the areas of throughput, cycle time and inventory reduction. Coordinate process problems that involve deviation from standard conditions
5 years’ experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing.
Bachelor's degree preferred; years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Previous experience in a team leadership role strongly preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization
Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage
