Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for our second shift in a growing food manufacturing environment in Wisconsin. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee electrical, plumbing and equipment maintenance, and drive downtime reduction while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance supervision in manufacturing, with strong welding, PM, machine operations, and wiring experience, plus a background in technical trades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the maintenance team across electrical, plumbing, ventilation and building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and facilities.
• Inspect facilities for safety and compliance; manage inventory controls.
• Train and develop maintenance staff; drive performance improvements.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and vendors to schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Lead regular team meetings and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated, and proactive Permanent Maintenance Supervisor for our second shift operations. This dynamic role is a key player in our manufacturing industry, responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potential is realized for all machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, preventative maintenance, machine operations, and wiring, with a keen eye for detail, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure production efficiency and safety.
• Evaluate problematic systems or facilities and determine what installation or repair services need to be performed.
• Perform initial and ongoing inspections of the facility’s physical condition to assess needs and to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Supervise, evaluate, and train maintenance team members to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and staff to ascertain and schedule maintenance or repair work.
• Conduct regular meetings with the team to share updates, discuss issues, and devise solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure good, reliable sources of supply and information.
• Ensure all reporting functions are completed on time and contain accurate information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in welding, preventative maintenance, machine operations, and wiring.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.).
• Exceptional leadership and management skills with a focus on securing strategic results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical systems, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
• Certification in a trade (electrician, carpenter etc.) or relevant certification (such as Certified Maintenance Manager) will be an advantage.
